Advancing Civic Engagement through The White House Project

Our current partner in advancing civic engagement is The White House Project, which has a strong non-partisan Michigan presence.  As a result Michigan women are participating in a national vision of building a truly representative democracy while mastering the skills they need to seek elective office at many levels and to govern successfully.  Since 2004, the leadership trainings have opened the door to civic, community and professional leadership for more than 6,000 women across the country.

Advancing Civic Engagement Through Advocacy

Following the convening in spring, 2010, Nokomis Foundation will seek partnerships to work on education and advocacy efforts focused on public health care policy.
